The iconic Colville Cafe is now part of Colville’s new community owned and operated public access commercial kitchen! This Colville Cooperative Society sponsored project began in August 2017, and has so far seen community groups using the premises for small scale cafe businesses, fundraisers and special events.  Starting in December people from the community will begin operation of a cafe full time in the front room cafe area, and a group of local artists and artisans have opened the Back Room Gallery in…you guessed it!…the back room!  This summer’s visitors to the cafe can expect a terrific menu, organic baking and great organic coffee.  

Open:
Tuesday  through Sunday, 9am – 3pm, and from Thursday to Saturday from 5pm to 9pm for wood-fired pizza.

Hereford ‘n’ a Pickle
2318 Colville Rd

The ‘Pickle’, as it is known locally, is a beautiful, rustic, family owned shop selling home grown meat and produce, preserves and baking, and offering great coffee, fresh baking, gorgeous fruit filled ice cream and their very own Hereford beef burgers in the small cafe.  Little ones can play in the playground while grown ups sit back, relax, and take in the view.    

Tangiaro Kiwi Retreat, Cafe and Restaurant
1299 Port Charles Road

The Tangiaro Kiwi Retreat, located in lush green Coromandel bush  at the base of Mount Moehau, offers both cafe and restaurant dining.  The Cafe is open 7  days, Sunday thru Thursday from 10am to 4 pm, with evening meals available any night for bookings of 6 or more.  Menus feature  a collection of delicious dishes and local Coromandel beer and wine.

The restaurant is open Friday and Saturday till 7pm, bookings required.  Please ring first to ensure Tangiaro is open as seasonal variations may change opening days/times.
